It’s a party!

And you’re invited! Join Lea Valle to celebrate the release of her book, Sweet Paleo, on Saturday, March 21 from 5-7 p.m. at Squirrel and the Bee in Short Hills, NJ. The event is free, and there will be free samples!

All the recipes in the book are gluten-free, and reviewers are loving them. At BookTrib, Amanda Harkness made the Chocolate Beet Pudding Cake— and caught her meat-and-potatoes dad stealing an extra slice!

Food Republic awarded “Holy Grail Status” to Valle’s Perfect Paleo Pie Crust. Unlike most paleo crusts, you can actually roll it out, so paleo-friendly pies are easier than ever!

We also got a mention on the Powell’s Books blog, along with some other great Countryman Press titles. Even more exciting, Lea Valle did a guest post at Paleo Parents, showing off the Chocolate Beet Pudding Cake that BookTrib liked so much. That post also featured some other great photographs from the book, all of which will have you rushing to your oven to get baking.

It’s never to early to eat healthy, and by that we mean breakfast! The folks at Leite’s Culinaria started their day off right with some paleo granola.

Speaking of breakfast, George Bryant at Civilized Caveman Cooking tried the recipe for Apple Cider Donuts, proving that they are perfect for fall or any time of year (or day!). Don’t those look amazing?
